Anche da allenatore guidò per due “mandati” la Dea, prima nel 1970 e poi dal ’76 al 1980. Tante le squadre guidate, compresa la Cremonese in cui lanciò uno dei più grandi difensori della storia recente del calcio italiano, Antonio Cabrini.
